The Active Leaders Club

All About the Club

The Active Leaders Club is a practical leadership programme that begins with essential skills training, preparing children to confidently lead active games and sport-based wellbeing activities. Through guided sessions, Active Leaders develop key leadership skills including communication, organisation, safety, first aid awareness and teamwork, while learning how to plan, explain and deliver activities that get others moving in a positive and inclusive way. Children work towards clearly defined skill achievements, building confidence as they step into real leadership roles.

Following their training, Active Leaders put their skills into action by leading activities within their school setting, supporting active wellbeing and inclusion for others. There is also the opportunity for children to undertake further Leadership Challenges, offering creative leadership experiences beyond physical activity. At its heart, the club empowers children to lead with purpose, inspire others and create positive active change.
